we booked a tour of the pampas region that included our flight to rurrenabaque and back to la paz, which was lovely since that saved us from two, very bumpy, 20 hour bus rides!!!
however, the flight did mean man putting our trust in in a teeny-tiny 19 person plane.
see the bright light up there? that´s the windshield. there was no separation between us and the pilots, at all. luckily, we never had to see them frantically pushing buttons.

luckily, the plane was in a much better condition than the car we´d be taking into and out of town to the pampas…
and if you ask me, it looks like they´ve been repairing their many windshield cracks with bubblicious.

love the airport! and i think my heart stopped when i saw the car…thinking it was the plane…but just for a split second… 😛
