hip hip hooray! it’s my 500th blog post!
i know i’m not the best, nor most prolific, blogger around, but oh my that sounds like a lot of blogging!
and speaking of blogging, what do you think of this idea as a new, semi-regular thing?
it’s a little board thrown together by me to give you some ideas for your next shoot….
(aka…i get to window shop online and call it “working” … sneaky, right?)
i started with an engagement because, truthfully, i didn’t know how long it was going to take me to put one of these together and i wanted to only have to dress two people! hah. but it was pretty easy, and i know my calendar is focused on families for the next month or two, so the next will be for your holiday mini-ers coming up!
also, full disclosure, this is totally not my new and brilliant idea!
i originally was directed to another photographer’s blog with these types of boards by a friend/client who sent me the link and said it was really helpful for her to get ideas for her shoot with her husband and son. so hopefully at least a couple of people may find my boards useful too!
also, after i put this top and skirt together i realized i was maybe subconsciously recreating a look similar to the dress marissa wore for her engagement session with her fiance, tommy! you can see their sneak peek here. you can kiiiiinda see her dress looking like my little board up there, but you’ll be able to see it more clearly in their full blog post coming next week! : )
