- hit the mall: (michael needs flip flops, a.k.a. shower shoes, for the trip; i need a plain travel-approved wedding band – just a sterling silver band will do… but finding one, in stock, in my size has proved difficult; and michael needs a travel dop-kit.
- replace battery in michael’s travel watch
- cross our fingers that we find out that we are approved for health care (and then ask them pretty please for a vaccation advance on prescriptions — will they do that within 24 hours of accepting you…? we’ll see.)
- michael needs to finish his class work (yes this was on yesterday’s list… hummm)
- go to kinkos (another to-do-list-repeat-offender)
- finish itinerary (yes, it’s true. a THIRD repeat-offender. ughhh)
- go to the post office
- call dish network and find out what (potentially ridiculous) amount they are going to want to charge us for the fact that we have “misplaced” two of our three tv remote controls in the move.
- find two tv remote controls in the mountain of boxes … a.k.a., find a needle in a haystack (note: this task is pending the outcome of the previous task…)
- pick up a queen size matress from michael’s sisters house, strap it to the roof of his car (as if we know how to do that kind of thing), and move it to michael’s parents’ house to be stored (this will also involve moving around furniture to create a place for in which it can be stored. fun stuff.)
and because everything is better with a picture, and because what’s the point of rushing to bed when it’s already 3am and i still need to shower anyway…
i present to you… north america’s largest cross:
