remember when aol used to audibly tell you, “you’ve got mail” upon sign in (or maybe it still does…)?
at one point they recorded celebrities saying, “you’ve got mail” and you could change from the mono-robot voice to someone totally, cool, like say… L. L. Cool J. which i did. i changed my talking you’ve-got-mail-man to l. l. cool j. and then i couldn’t remember how i’d done that so it remained l. l. cool j for a few years.
i think this makes me pretty legit, right?
