now that we are moving away from davis island so soon (the renter in our soon-to-be new home is finally moving out on SATURDAY!!) we’ve been trying to take full advantage of our time left before moving more inland.
although we are waaaay excited about getting out of my mom’s and into a place of our own, i will miss being able to walk the dogs down to the water in under 10 minutes or driving 5 minutes to the end of the island to let the dogs run wild in the open field near the yacht club and watch the sunset.
yeah, we are only moving 10 minutes away from all this, but it’s still a loss. we are pretty lazy sometimes and a 1o minute drive can be more than twice the hassle of a 10 minute walk…
