happy st. patrick’s day!!!!!!

so far i have celebrated this moments day by wearing a green shirt and spending three hours clicking between quickbooks and turbo tax and trying to convince them to do what i want them to do, even though i’m not even totally sure what that is.  oh, and i called my dad, because it’s his birthday. : )

and i spent $800 on an sb-700 speedlight and a 60mm macro lens because i at least wrangled turbo tax enough to know i don’t owe the government any money and could finally “check out” with my items that have been sitting in my b & h photo shopping cart for over a month! yay!

but really, what i WISH i were doing was making this cake because i think it’s aaaaamazing.   i WILL make this at some point.  that point could be years from now, but whatever… everyone needs long term goals.
