our place of rest for the night: a salt hotel
the last night we slept just outside of the salt flat so we could be there first thing the next morning. although this place, like the others, only had electricity for about 3 or 4 hours a day, we did get to take out first hot showers (okay, our first showers at all) of the whole four day trip. it was wonderfulllll.
here is our room in the salt hotel. salt walls. salt floor. salt bedside table. and yes, the walls taste like salt. michael told me so.
