we were there for the cherry festival, but the town itself is very beautiful.
the main industry is cherry farming and there`s lots of that. even cherry trees growing in the medians which were dripping with cherries for the taking. not to mention the cherry pits and stems littering the streets and sidewalks.
i ate a HUGE bag of cherries with little to no help from michael. it was awesome.
on our last day in town we walked about a half hour to the lake, which we had almost completely to ourselves.
michael played with the rocks. skipping them, thowing them, juggling them…
meanwhite, i ate more cherries!
on the way back into town, we came across a mother horse feeding her baby and i climbed into the bushes to take a picture of them…
