when we got there it was not so much beachy and more so like this:
and required wearing not so beachy clothes, like jeans and sweaters.
when you’re at the beach and you can’t do beachy things, you end up instead sitting/standing around and playing with bow ties…

but eventually we waited it out long enough for the clouds to dissipate, and the sun to emerge.
out came sunscreen and finally bathing suits.
