what was your favorite moment, or favorite part, of your wedding day?

Seeing Patrick at the end of the aisle.
OR… Seeing my bridesmaid, Charlotte knock over girls to snag the bouquet in the bouquet toss. As well as seeing all her bruises the next day.

is there anything you wish you had done differently when planning your wedding?

Actually no, I love everything and felt it went perfectly. It was the best day of my life.

which three vendors were most important to you when planning your wedding?

– Photography- AKA you! You were the first vendor I booked.
– Day of Coordinator– She made sure everything ran smoothly the day of so I did not have to stress.
– DJ– They run the whole reception and can make or break your wedding.

what was your biggest wedding day savings? (and was it worth it?)

I decided to buy a sample wedding dress and save money. It was definitely worth it to me. Then I could save money for jewelry, accessories, shoes and alterations (and I don’t think anyone noticed : )

what was your biggest wedding day splurge? (and was it worth it?)

Hair and makeup. I paid big money to have hair and makeup done for me and all my bridesmaids (airbrush, fake eyelashes and all). But it was worth every penny. It looked great and really stood out in the photos.

what was the best advice you received when planning your wedding? (and did you listen?)

“Get a day of coordinator so you don’t have to worry about a thing.”
I listened and it was worth every penny! Shawna made the day flawless : )

was there anything encountered during wedding planning that was unexpected?

No. Everyone told me something unexpected would happened during the day and actually nothing did. Everything went smoothly.

was there a moment(s) during your wedding day that surprised you?

The YMCA dance. Patrick and his groomsmen came marching into the ballroom with only their vests on dancing to YMCA. I had no idea he was going to do that and I LOVED it.

when you look back on your wedding day in 50 years, what do you think you’ll remember most?

Many things:
– Seeing Patrick at the end of the aisle
– How everyone danced all night long
– How special it was to have Sophie there to witness our wedding day.
