… insight from jennifer …
how would you describe your wedding to someone who was not there? what were some of your inspirations? how did you envision the wedding prior to your special day?
Classic, elegant and romantic. You could feel the love in the room. Each and every person there meant so much to us!
is there anything you wish you had done differently when planning your wedding?
Looking back all the planning and thought that went into the wedding was completely worth it. The night was better than I could have imagined.
which three vendors were most important to you when planning your wedding?
Each and every vendor was amazing to work with and we couldn’t have done it without their help and expertise. The OE team was so wonderful, helpful and always available to answer all of my questions. Botanica was so much fun to work with and the flowers really set the tone of the night. We also loved the DJ! No one wanted to leave the dance floor. My Mom was so helpful, organized and a blast to work with. She’s not a vendor but she deserves a ton of credit!
what was your biggest wedding day splurge?
The food and drinks were amazing! The chef prepared such a delicious and unique meal. Guests told us that it was the best meal they had all year!
what was your favorite moment, or favorite part, of your wedding day?
The ceremony is something that I will never forget. My Uncle was the officiant so we were able to make the ceremony very personal. At the request of my husband we wrote and memorized our vows. It made it so special and there wasn’t a dry eye in the room!
when you look back on your wedding day in 50 years, what do you think you’ll remember most?
I will remember the love and commitment that we made to each other. It was such a wonderful experience to have all of your favorite people in one room!
