gone fishin’

after anaconda huntin’ it was only appropriate to go piranha fishin’.

sadly, we weren’t so great at the whole “catching fish” part of the equation…

we baited up our very technical and pricey fishing equipment and got to work.

sadly, as hard as we tried, our boat didn’t catch a single fish! meanwhile, the other boat, who was basically right next to us, caught at least 4!

after the fishing, we headed to a different bar type place to hang out, play games, and watch the sun set.

as soon as the sun went down the (possibly malaria infected) mosquitoes were in full force, so it was back to camp to beds protected from the insects but not from the sweltering heat!

michael actually slept without his mosquito net down (the only one to risk death by malaria because he didn’t want to be hot) because he couldn’t take it!
