i am so belated in posting these images from courtney and matthew’s rehearsal and rehearsal dinner on the eve of their beautiful wedding!

we began at hyde park methodist church for their rehearsal for their ceremony the following day…

and then we headed to the fun, lively rehearsal dinner at jackson’s, surrounded by courtney and matthew’s family and friends.  matthew’s mother, carol, did an amazing job planning the evening with the help of karen and mary alice of creations and occasions!  the attention to detail was amazing.  the affair had an overall sports theme, specifically showing pride for their wake forest and florida state university roots.

the cake was fashioned after the chapel on the wake forest campus, which is also where the couple got engaged! so cute. all of the food was denoted with fun little names to coordinate with the party theme and the each guest was asked to write a little note to the couple on the back of their pennant place cards.  of course, i loved seeing the large prints from their engagement session displayed on the wall, and had so much fun seeing (and hearing) their guests’ reactions to their custom guestbook album.  : )

both courtney and matthew come from big families with strong tampa roots. i loved it when i overheard at the reception that one of their friends had posted a picture on facebook from the ceremony with the caption, “the tampa royal wedding!” : )
