we booked a tour of the pampas region that included our flight to rurrenabaque and back to la paz, which was lovely since that saved us from two, very bumpy, 20 hour bus rides!!! however, the flight did mean man putting our trust in in a teeny-tiny 19 person plane. see the bright light up...

we loved la paz so much more than we had planned for. we thought we´d be there 3 days and ended up staying for 7! this big “american” breakfast (eggs, toast with “butter” & jelly, banana juice, cofee or tea, and fruit with granola and yogurt) was under $3 each. i´d say our biggest points...

after the salt flat tour michael, haim, ohad, and i headed to potosi to check out the mines (while alon moved on to la paz). the way there was dangerous in itself.  this was the bus ride on which the steering column broke one hour into our five hour ride that i mentioned before.  but...

goofyness from the uyuni salt flat… michael really happy about the sunrise michael again, still super excited shadow fights… alon and ohad michael and haim alon and ohad the whole group. can you tell which silhouette is michael and which one is me?  i think i may be a tad easier to spot than michael… then we were attacked by dinosaurs!!!...
