… insight from caroline …
what was your favorite moment, or favorite part, of your wedding day?
Seeing all of the hard work come together. Seeing our friends and family having a great time, laughing and dancing. Everything looked beautiful, we had no more planning to do, and we could let loose and enjoy.
which three vendors were most important to you when planning your wedding?
DJ- Matt and I love to dance, so it was crucial to have music that would keep the party going, and he did not disappoint! Glam squad- I had a large party of gals to get ready before the wedding, so it was a long day of beautifying. Our hair and makeup artists were amazing and we had so much fun getting ready with them before the ceremony. Photographer- It was so important to us to have a great photographer to capture memories that will allow us to relive the best day ever for years to come.
what was the best advice you received when planning your wedding? (and did you listen?)
I was told to remember to eat, and I certainly listened. The food was great, and the cake too! It was nice to sit for a while and enjoy a nice meal amidst the hustle and bustle of the day.
was there a moment during your wedding day that surprised you?
When my 92-year old grandmother got up to dance, which was amazing.
when you look back on your wedding day in 50 years, what do you think you’ll remember most?
I’ll remember the smile on Matt’s face as I walked down the aisle. Since we didn’t do a first look, the excitement and emotion of that moment when we met at the alter before the beautiful ceremony, I’ll remember that forever.
