i wanted a sandwich but michael wanted bbq. however, he had to agree, the bbq place in downtown la is not good. at least on the one chance i gave it to be good, it was not. maybe there’s somewhere better, but we didn’t know of any on the top of our heads so michael agreed to go to the sandwich shop instead.
then, upon arriving, what do you know… the sandwich of the day was a bbq beef sandwich.
there was no real moral of this story. i just think that it was such a coincidence. too much of one to not order it, even though i had specifically not wanted bbq for lunch. oh well, it was really good anyways.
(and yes, most people would choose their sandwich individually but michael and i almost always, always share meals when eating out. neither of us are big enough eaters to finish the serving sizes of most restaurants these days. we just get one entree and an extra side and it’s almost always plenty… and in the case that it is not plenty, we get dessert!)
