amber and jim have enjoyed their time here in florida but they are a couple on the move! not only are they planning a wedding in aruba, but when we met just a few days ago they were finishing up packing up their lives and making a move to charlotte, north carolina. i was so pleased to be able to photograph their engagement in their last week as floridans. they have an exciting year ahead of them and i hope it is filled with all things good! 🙂
when i took this image on the left (below) amber asked me if they were supposed to be smiling or not. i told her it really didn’t matter one bit, that they would just be silhouettes. i’m not sure if they knew what the heck i was talking about, but i just love how these came out.
we ended our session with a quick wardrobe change into shirts representing the other’s place of birth. very cute!
