how would you describe your wedding to someone who was not there? what were some of your inspirations? how did you envision the wedding prior to your special day?
We envisioned it just being a beautiful event with good food and drinks. We never picked colors or a theme, so our wedding came out to be a little bit of an eclectic feeling, which was perfect for the venue, Oxford Exchange.

is there anything you wish you had done differently when planning your wedding?
I would have changed into a reception dress to be comfortable breaking-it-down on the dance floor! 

which three vendors were most important to you when planning your wedding?
Our flowers by La Vie En Rose. They created our chuppah, which was the centerpiece of our ceremony and reception.

what was your biggest wedding day savings?
Not hiring a wedding planner. 

what was your biggest wedding day splurge?
Dessert bar

what was the best advice you received when planning your wedding? 
Make sure to have good food, and good bar service. You don’t want your guests waiting in line for a drink. We paid just a little extra to have an additional bar set up in our lounge.

was there anything encountered during wedding planning that was unexpected?
Becoming pregnant AFTER I bought the wedding dress, then once dress was altered I accidentally put a hole right in the middle of my dress! Luckily, I got my dress from the fabulous Isabel O’Neil Bridal who helped me with my all my wedding dress surprises!

what was your favorite moment, or favorite part, of your wedding day?
When the rabbi said “you are married, it’s official!”

when you look back on your wedding day in 50 years, what do you think you’ll remember most?
Being surrounded by our family and friends, marrying the love of my life!
